Faithful Friends Wall of Honor

These horses have been honored with a donation to the American Saddlebred Horse Association
towards the technology upgrade, which will enhance the ASHA website and help support the advancement of our breed.

Great Freedom

We purchased our Saddlebreds for pleasure in 1973 from Harry Showalter of Chambersburg, PA. We owned a fruit farm in a fruit area and were also able to ride in neighboring orchards and woods. "Freedom" and "Cres" had a period of transition from barn and ring to orchard and woods, which created excitement for their riders. However, they soon became accustomed to nature. We loved our Saddlebreds and enjoyed them until the end of their lives and they are now at rest on our farm.
